Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how StockPrecog ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use stockprecog.com, the StockPrecog web application, our APIs, and our official social media channels (the "Service"). We act as the data controller. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — if you register: your email address and authentication details.
- Usage data — basic, often aggregated, analytics about how the Service is used (e.g. pages viewed, device and browser type).
- Content interactions — when you engage with our content on third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), those platforms process your data under their own privacy policies; we may see aggregated metrics.
2. How we use data
- To provide, operate and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account or support requests.
- To understand, in aggregate, which content performs well.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Legal basis (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract (providing the Service to you), and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Third-party platforms on which our content appears set their own cookies.
5. Third parties
We use service providers for hosting, analytics, market data and social distribution (including TikTok and Meta). These providers process data on our behalf or, in the case of social platforms, under their own policies. We do not share more personal data than necessary.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes & contact
We may update this Policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Questions? Contact [email protected].
